Emil Burca - Founder/President
Emil graduated from the University of Waterloo with a science and business degree, also minoring in computer science. During his time of study and leading up to it, he held multiple jobs in residential construction with varying tradespeople giving him a broad exposure to the industry which he ended up developing a passion for; Emil was fascinated with the limitless ability to transform or create a space to reflect a vision. His professional life began as a partner in a residential painting company startup, establishing a name while delivering quality service.
Several years later, an opportunity arose for him to switch into the business consulting world where for the duration of 4 years he held the position of account specialist, managing over 30 business to business clients throughout southwestern Ontario.
His passion brought him back into the world of residential construction, housing, and customer service and with a wealth of accumulated experience. Emil obtained his real estate license and joined his already established wife/partner Daniela to form Team Burca Real Estate; a boutique real estate sales and marketing company they have been operating since 2009.
During this time, Emil has also been extensively involved in building and developing investment properties for his owner portfolio, from urban brownfield conversions in the city core to multi-million dollar luxury homes. Having facilitated hundreds of transactions of resale and new build properties, it was a natural progression to offer a bespoke service that replaces the traditional cookie cutter mentality often found in new construction designing with the scope of layout efficiency and customization.
Emil founded Kinridge Homes in 2023 and seeks to build a solid reputation on quality and trust with each project they complete.
Daniela Burca - Partner / Visionary Designer
As an immigrant to Canada at the age of 13, Daniela worked hard to achieve her pharmacy technician diploma from Ontario Business College and started off her professional career working in retail pharmacy. After two years in that sector, she advanced to a more intense, faced paced environment as an in-patient pharmacy technician and worked for the Grand River Hospital for the following 10 years. She excelled at her job as it demanded a high emphasis on detail, a natural inclination Daniela has.
Daniela’s interest in real estate led her to leave the medical profession and change careers in 2004 to full time sales representative. Her friendly demeanor, drive, and attention to detail helped her grow and establish herself at a rapid pace achieving several milestones of high performance with Remax. She worked in all aspects of residential real estate, negotiating with builders on behalf of her buyer clients and representing her buyer and seller clients on resale properties. She accumulated a wealth of knowledge through broad exposure to the wide variety of homes she worked on. Daniela developed an ability to understand building plans, how to identify inefficiencies, and maximize layout functionality. She strives to achieve a balance in design of timeless and elegance in every project she works on.
Alongside Emil, Daniela is focused on building a reputation for Kinridge Homes centered on quality and trust as they continue to grow with each project. As a mother of six, Daniela not only works hard to support the business but also dedicates her time to her children and husband.
Tim Burca - Partner / Project Manager
Tim was born and raised in Kitchener and started off at an early age working with flooring contractors during the summer months of high school, and he has been diversifying his knowledge and experience in the industry ever since. He is an avid outdoorsman that finds recreation in hunting and fishing and is completely in his element with the sometimes-rough conditions present on a construction site
He studied general metal machining at Conestoga College but decided to pursue a career in the slightly different direction of residential construction and renovation. He has been part of multiple large projects and complete rebuilds. Prior to being involved with Kinridge homes, he undertook two full scale renovation and duplexing projects of his own, involving extensive interior structural rebuilds from the electrical and mechanical system to the finished product. Tim has a strong sense of responsibility and goes the distance to ensure the homeowners he is working with are well taken care of.
Tim maintains a high standard of quality on completion and throughout the process of each project he manages, and in parallel, a friendly attitude.
